Kandams

The Palm leaves are a collection of highly standardised manuscripts split into sixteen Kandams (chapters). These Kandams serialise various aspects of an individual's materialistic and Divine life, such as family, marriage, job, wealth, luck, a relationship between siblings and sisters, Friends, Business Partners, and so on. These chapters provide information about past births and sins, as well as committed problems and solutions for Atri Maharishi. (2 to 16)..

Chapter 1 of the Naadi Shastra, Kandam, General Report

The Nadi seeker's name, life expectancy, intended way of living, identity, names of spouse and parents, information about the current line of work, siblings, sisters, and children are all included in this reading. Based on the planetary positions at the moment of birth as recorded in the Nadi leaf, this chapter will provide a summary of future predictions for each of the 12 houses in his or her horoscope

Chapter 5 of the Naadi Shastra, “Kandam”: “Children, Offspring, Progeny, and Pregnancy”

Details regarding children seekers are provided in this chapter. It is possible to predict a person's birth, lifespan, accomplishments, problems, death, and total success. Additionally, it offers solutions for any children's issues. Additionally, the likelihood of the Nadi seeker having offspring as well as information on the subject are predicted.

Chapter 6 of the Naadi Shastra, “Kandam”: “Illness, Debt, and Litigation”

The sixth Kandam contains information on diseases, their causes, their duration, and the degree of harm they bring to the lives of Nadi Seekers. This part discusses how long people live, potential accidents, legal disputes, etc.

Chapter 9 of the Naadi Shastra, “Kandam”: “Property, Father, and Spiritual Inclinations”

This chapter discusses the Nadi seeker's ancestral property, his/her parent, and your money accumulation; it also discusses worshipping places and spiritual inclinations, if any.

Chapter 10 of the Naadi Shastra, “Kandam”: “Business”

The tenth Kandam is about your business life; it informs you what type of business is best for you, or which type of business will bring you plenty of profits, losses, and so on.

Chapter 11 of the Naadi Shastra, “Kandam”: “Conveyance, Second Marriage”

This chapter discusses how you will profit from any mode of transportation, such as cars or two-wheelers, as well as your second marriage/wife.

Chapter 12 of the Naadi Shastra, “Kandam”: “Expenditure, Foreign Connections, and Next Birth”

This chapter contains details about your financial spending. That is about how you spent your money, how it occurred, and it also explains Moksha or heavenly status, any monetary benefits, and better status resulting from foreign tours and foreign contacts. It also addresses your next birth, such as where you will be born, your living circumstances, and so on.

Chapter 13 of the Naadi Shastra, “Kandam”: “Previous Birth And Remedies (Shanti Kandam)”

This chapter discusses the history of last birth, last birth sins, demerits accumulated in this birth as a result of last birth sins, and corrective measures.

Chapter 14 of the Naadi Shastra, “Kandam”: “Mantra Upadesh (Deeksha Kandam)”

This chapter discusses holy mantras (sacred chants) to be recited as well as holy materials to be stored in the prayer chamber. Subjugation of enemies and use of mantra to overcome them, litigation, negative and evil consequences, and so on.

Chapter 15 of the Naadi Shastra, “Kandam”: “Gnanna Kandam's (Spiritual Life)”

This chapter discusses mental development, the potential of attaining wisdom, and God. The preceptor's Guru, from whom to obtain knowledge, and so on

Chapter 16 of the Naadi Shastra, “Kandam”: “Political Kandam (Public Life)”

Predictions about social work and politics.
